What is Fisher House? (Video)
Fort Gordon Army Fisher House provides a free home-away-from-home for our Wounded Warriors and their families while the Wounded Warrior receives medical treatment and care at Eisenhower Army Medical Center or Veterans Administration Medical Center in Augusta, GA.
Without Fisher House, these wonderful families would suffer financial hardships thus preventing them from being with their loved one in their special time of need. Fisher House depends on public support to operate and is rated A+ by the American Institute of Philanthropy (www.charitynavigator.org).
American Legion Riders Post 178 Augusta, GA., has supported Fisher House for the past three years. It is truly an honor to support our Wounded Warriors and their families. We pay a small price compared to those who have sacrificed so much for us!

The event is free and open to the public! Open to riders and non riders (cages)! All veterans and veteran groups are especially welcome.
Fisher House Donations gratefully accepted onsite at the “Donations Booth.”
Motorcyclists stage, Taylor BMW, Washington Road Martinez GA.
Meet at 11:00AM. Kick Stands Up 12:00PM.

If you fly large flags on your bike , there will be a designated area to park.
Riders form up in two rows with bikes displaying large flags at the head of the procession.
“Roaring Thunder 2009” Event T-shirts and “Soldier Angel Pins will be on sale. All proceeds go to Fisher House!
